Used to be the best

Review Text:
These used to be the best, but replacing the stick with card does not work in this case! They bend way too easily. I'm pro-biodegradable stuff, but not for this.

No longer the best

Review Text:
I am all in favour of using bio-degrading material but now the quality of these cotton buds are not much different to many of the supermarkets own brand that are a great deal cheaper. We will not be buying Johnson and Johnson again.

Reducing single use plastic waste

Review Text:
Hello Johnsons, its great that the stick of the cotton bud, however customers are saying paper stick breaks. Have you considered using bamboo sticks? It is much tougher and used for toothbrush handles I use these myself. I really appreciate the changes you are attempting to make and fully understand the vital need to reduce plastic. Single- use Plastic cannott be recycled therfore it remains in the environment for hundreds of years. People need to understand that we cannott continue using SUPlastics and that Climate Change is a reality. The IPCC report gave Earth 10/12 years before irrevocable damage was done. So lets get on with the changes now and consider our families future.

Love the new sticks

Review Text:
As a person trying to reduce my plastic waste, I really appreciate the new stick. If you hold the stick closer to the bus, they will not bend when using them. I do find them to be not a soft these days but it insures I don’t prod in my ears to far with them so that’s actually quite useful for me! Well done Johnson’s!

Compromise

Review Text:
Well done to Johnsons for being one of the first companies to act re plastics. They just need to make the stick a bit firmer and improve the bud back to it's original size. In their current state, they are useless.

Not enough cotton bud

Review Text:
I agree with a lot of these reviews, I can understand the need to reduce plastic, but why reduce the size of the cotton bud? It makes the end very hard and uncomfortable, I have used these for years but often buy other brands now. Cost cutting is losing customers.

Useless

Review Text:
The new cotton buds are useless and a waste of money. They are not worth one star in the review. I am so disappointed as I have purchased the blue ones for years. The new ones are just too flexible - and they are not supposed to be. Please bring back the plastic ones.
