I've used the original johnson's baby lotion for years as an adult. It represented pink and soft in a bottle. Now, they have removed the pink dye, made the texture thicker, changed the smell and put a pump on the bottle without a way of changing it (the previous cap was a screw top) which for a company that wants to take care of the new generation is adding more plastic pollution, I feel very disappointed. And as I prefer to bulk buy large bottles, dropping down to the 300ml for the non pump version just seems like a waste. On speaking with customer service, the first one just replied with a generic response which wasn't good in showing that J&J cared. Though the 2nd person was very helpful, it does seem like J&J only worked with parents who may only use it for their kids and stop rather than also looking at adults who will continue using it for years. It is a shame they stock 750ml bath and shampoo but not lotion in the UK. There are so many XL and XXL products that the US have which the UK could benefit from if it meant saving money and convenience, some of which are slowly making their way to the UK. I wish they would bring back the original while keeping the new one as I'm sure people like the new version but many, like myself, would love to the see the ORIGINAL return. J&J have stocked different versions of baby lotion at the same time. Their Aveeno baby lotion is too thick compared to the rather runny UK Johnson's baby lotion (the US version is very thick).
No, I would not recommend this product
